Spring is just around the corner!

Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait! I do not like Winter with the cold and snow. We've been getting quite a few snows here in Denver/Parker CO. which is helping the lawns. It's not enough to help the trees because it takes a 2 foot heavy wet snow that soaks down a foot deep into the soil to get to the roots and benefit the trees. The trees here in Denver/Parker CO. are suffering due to the drought we have had for 2 years now. The lawns will be starting to green up any time now. As soon as it gets warm and stays warm for an extended period of time and the night time lows aren't so cold, the soil temps will come up combined with the moisture from these snows and bring the lawns out of dormancy and they will take off and green up. We will be starting our Spring aerations and fertilizing anytime now here at Wiens Lawn and Tree Care.
